At least it did for us and suddenly I was hoping for things to slow down long enough to catch my breath. We also found it rough to go from full steam ahead with the move to 'hurry up and wait' once we got here. That really might be the toughest part for you.

As organized as you are, I presume that you've been keeping up with the various industry updates on which renovations give you the most return on your time and money. Our old house was over 120 years old but sold within 2 months with multiple parties interested despite the agent's pessimism and long forecast. That really put our relaxed time table in an immediate frenzy so be prepared for the unexpected. I so pray that your move is dealt far less stress from the hands of fate.Linhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09100999113439449482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7264626299434162172.post-53875838651289132782008-01-18T13:39:00.000-07:002008-01-18T13:39:00.000-07:00I wonder, does one ever get there, or is it all a ...I wonder, does one ever get there, or is it all a learning experience????

Well... Speaking as a fellow Type-A, my experience has been it's a constant learning experience. I'm five years removed from the Working World and I still have to remind myself to slow down and "smell the roses" and such. And to make allowances for other folks whose priorities are different than mine. That might be the hardest bit.Buckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05319116022465066060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7264626299434162172.post-80584593154064743152008-01-17T07:58:00.000-07:002008-01-17T07:58:00.000-07:00catmoves ~ After I read your comment I realized I ...catmoves ~ After I read your comment I realized I have not been in New Mexico in March since we lived in ABQ in 1970. At all. But, it came, all too soon enough. Sooner, actually...if that makes sense. While you might think you did all the stuff you had to do in anticipation of The Big Day... reality is something altogether different.

In my case, anyway.
