"I think that New Mexico was the greatest experience from the outside world that I ever had.
It certainly changed me forever ... The moment I saw the brilliant proud morning (sun) shine high up over the deserts of Santa Fe,
something stood still in my soul."

Snow and Aspens
What interesting scenery up in the Sangre de Cristos today.
The golden quaking aspens, the symbol of the fall season, are at their peak color.
And the first snow, the sign of approaching winter, has fallen.
Which made the mountain a wonderland of October beauty today!
You just can't go wrong with aspen photos. In RR, there was always snow on the ground by Halloween. The ski area was busy making snow for the mountain and we were skiing by Thanksgiving.

Wow! I can't believe all the snow! I always go up there in the summer.
