"I think that New Mexico was the greatest experience from the outside world that I ever had. It certainly changed me forever ... The moment I saw the brilliant proud morning (sun) shine high up over the deserts of Santa Fe, something stood still in my soul." ~D.H. Lawrence

Wednesday night at the Pit
We had a GREAT time Wednesday night.
One of my wishes as a New Mexico resident has been to attend a basketball game at the Pit at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Our realtors Mary and Kent asked us to go to a Lobos women's game with them Weds. night. It was the first time I have ever seen a women's basketball game. It was different but it was fun.
The Pit is cool. Great basketball atmosphere. Part of my goal still remains: to go to a men's basketball game there!

The Pit is so cool! I've just been there twice. My high school graduation was there. And State Cheerleading Spirit Competition (which we won in our division last year!). Know what, come to think of it, I HAVE seen a few concerts there. Think I saw Alan Jackson (back when he was an opening act for Randy Travis), and Reba there as well. Oh, and George Strait (have a picture of me and him from that one!).
Sounds like all y'all had a great time, Sharon.
