"I think that New Mexico was the greatest experience from the outside world that I ever had.
It certainly changed me forever ... The moment I saw the brilliant proud morning (sun) shine high up over the deserts of Santa Fe,
something stood still in my soul."

Looking around at Lamy
We were down in Lamy today at the train station -- always a good place to snap a few pictures.
I love the Lamy train station photos. I have tried to paint it in the past from one of your photos - on one of my postcards, but it needs some improving. Maybe this new angle will work.
Let me know if these pictures don't work. Lamy is just 6 miles down the road from us and we can drive down there any time and get the station from every angle.
Nice pictures. Isn't there an old church in Lamy, too? I've been there a several times, but not lately. There's also a nice little abandoned church where the Old LV Hwy dead ends near Canoncito. Have you ever taken pictures of that?

Lou, that's great! Let me see the finished result if you get a successful angle.
