We were in Kansas City last weekend, which coincided with the last home stand of the season for the Kansas City Royals. S0 - John and I, and our son and daughter in law, Brian and Katy, went to Kaufmann Stadium to see a home game against the Minnesota Twins.
The Royals have not had a good team this year, and this game was an easy win for Minnesota. But the newly renovated ball park is a big win for Kansas City -- the place is simply amazing, with all the new technology, increased seating that extends around the outfield, wider concourses and many new restaurants. It's a wonderful (though a bit pricey) family experience and it is nice to see the Royals organization working so hard to continue to make the place so classy.
