We returned home from Colorado last week by way of Hwy. 285. We were tired when we finally crossed over into New Mexico, but here are a few pictures that John stopped to take.
These were taken north of Española, New Mexico, which is real pretty country.

All of these photos are so beautiful. We lived on the East side of San Antonio mountain, off of Hwy 522 (I had to google the highwy number because I never knew it) between Questa and Costilla. We could see the Spanish Peaks of CO. from our house.
Lou, I just LOVE northern New Mexico. Colorado has its charms for many people, but I am just so partial to our scenery here. I just ordered address labels with a view from Costilla, NM.
