"I think that New Mexico was the greatest experience from the outside world that I ever had.
It certainly changed me forever ... The moment I saw the brilliant proud morning (sun) shine high up over the deserts of Santa Fe,
something stood still in my soul."

Hi, Bag Blog
I am adding Bag Blog to my list of favorite New Mexico blog sites. She is not in New Mexico, but grew up there, and that's good enough for me!
Ya...her husband (Toby) is an accountant for Halliburton and does a lot of "road work." Lou has indicated there's a chance they may be going to Moscow next... I'm envious, too!
Thanks for the add on. I have posted lots of stories about our life in NM - an adventure to be sure. A civil engineer friend who retired to Taos called the area "a third world country" - made me laugh.
Lou, Do you have any plans to return to NM some day? I guess in a way I can see why someone might call NM a third world country...I think of it as *unique* in the United States ~ and maybe that is one of the things I love about it most.

Lou is a good add, Sharon. I still think she should have hired me to be her driver while she and Toby are in Scotland.
She's going to Scotland??? Now I AM jealous!!!
I didn't know her name was Lou, either. I like that better than Bag Blog.
