We returned to New Mexico today. It's good to be home, but I sure do miss those little kids, and already can't wait to see them again.
"I think that New Mexico was the greatest experience from the outside world that I ever had. It certainly changed me forever ... The moment I saw the brilliant proud morning (sun) shine high up over the deserts of Santa Fe, something stood still in my soul." ~D.H. Lawrence

The new addition to our family
I've been out of New Mexico for almost two weeks ... in Texas where my first grandson was born on November 24. He weighed 8 lb. 8 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long. His name is Alessandro. He is welcomed by his Mommy and Papa and his big sister Victoria, who thinks her little brother is pretty neat.

He is beautiful! Congrats! I actually posted about being a grandparent today - it is good stuff.
Great pics... and congrats, Grandma x2!
as for: ...and his big sister Victoria, who thinks her little brother is pretty neat.
I'm thinking that might change in about ten years time! ;-)
What a beautiful (handsome) little boy!!! And a great family!
Glad you made it back safely!
Thanks everyone. I think he is a little doll, but I am prejudiced. :)
