Snow and Checking out the House

Hubby is flying to NM tonight for the home inspection at the new house tomorrow.

I understand they are having some snow in northern NM today but he loves it so he will think it makes things even more fun.

We are really not too worried about the inspection ~ it didn’t look like much could be wrong with this house, and if the inspector finds anything, we need to know it and then negotiate with the sellers to get repairs done.

(The pics were taken the last week in February when we were in Santa Fe house-hunting.)

Hey! We looked a lot like those pics from time to time yesterday, minus the mountains, of course. But it's bright, sunny and (relatively) warm today. Good for the soul, this.

The inspection went well. John was there the whole time watching the process. He said the inspector was very thorough, and he had his report to us in 24 hours. Just a few things need to be done and all of it minor.

John had the most fun going up on the roof with the inspector. He said up higher like that the views in three directions were even BETTER!!! The Sangre de Cristos and the Jemez Mountains were even better than from the ground, and the Sandia Mtns./Cerrillos Hills which we cannot see from the ground were visible. I got to get up on that roof someday!
