Rock Chalk Jayhawk in Boulder Colorado

Last Saturday we went to a Kansas-Colorado Big 12 Football game in Boulder, at Folsom Field at the University of Colorado.

Being the visiting team, we were significantly outnumbered, but we sat in the visitors section with hundreds of Jayhawk fans and we had a ball! Singing, cheering, chanting, and waving the wheat; hugging and high-fiving perfect strangers. Unfortunately all of our enthusiasm and Jayhawk spirit didn't result in a win for our previously-undefeated team. The final score was 34-30, but other than the loss, it was a perfect day in Boulder, and we all had a great time!

I have family in Colorado and have spent a lot of time there over the years. I even watched a game at Folsome Field! Of course, I cheered for the Buffs :)

It's been fun seeing Colorado from your perspective!

Hi Kelly.
There is nothing like the excitement of a college football game - even when you are in the enemy stadium! LOL
