"I think that New Mexico was the greatest experience from the outside world that I ever had.
It certainly changed me forever ... The moment I saw the brilliant proud morning (sun) shine high up over the deserts of Santa Fe,
something stood still in my soul."

Our neighbor
This is who apparently is living between our house and the house to the west.
We see him out feeding and jumping around in the mornings. Then he is gone for the rest of the day.
That's definitely a jackalope! Be sure to look for the beautiful antlers he will drop early next Spring. I have quite a collection already and they are great for making chandeliers and napkin holders.

He's a very quiet neighbor.
And that's the BEST kind! Until he starts eating your flowers... ;-)
What a great picture of a jackrabbit. I always get a picture of them as they are jumping away!
He almost looks like a jackalope :)

Has your neighbor been brave (or silly) enough to let Starman chase him yet?
