St. Francis Cathedral Basilica, Santa Fe

The entire time we have lived in Santa Fe, St. Francis Cathedral has been covered in plastic in preparation for its 400th anniversary next year.

We were at the Plaza yesterday and then again today, and it's wonderful to see the church uncovered and all fresh and clean!

Doesn't it look beautiful! I saw the new/old face for the first time today. It is stunning!

Great pictures. Can't wait until all the scaffolding is down on the inside too. There is such a difference between the interior parts that have been re-painted and the parts that haven't.

I love the Cathedral. I still can't believe my own parish church is that beautiful.
